**The Technical Sales Representative **will promote and secure the sale of products and services within the assigned market sectors and work with account focus including but not limited to; EPC’s, engineering consultants, mechanical contractors, dealer/contractor accounts and OEM’s within the territory of Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Northwest Ontario. Should be an enthusiastic individual who has excellent communication skills and able to fit into a close-knit team environment as part of an expanding business. This full-time role may also include product-specific training, and attendance at tradeshows.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Identify, qualify and secure sales opportunities for Triple M Sales’ represented products, including the appropriate packaged systems, in the prescribed markets and territory.
- Business Development in all market segments with the goal of increasing overall revenue and sales, and meeting and exceeding expected targets.
- Work with management, sales and purchasing team members to successfully develop product knowledge and capability to enhance sales.
- Develop, nurture, and maintain close working relationships with the decision-makers in the assigned markets including consultants, operator/maintenance, engineers and contractors.
- Influence and assist in preparing technical specifications for the engineering consultants on Triple M Sales’ represented products.
- Develop and maintain highly respectful and good working relationships with the team for meeting goals of Triple M Sales’ represented products.
- Provide market intelligence to Inside Sales during quote preparation.
- Follow up and close quotes issued by Inside Sales.
- Update and maintain Triple M Sales’ internal sales tracking system on a regular and frequent basis; work with internal systems; manage sales and databases effectively.
- If required, develop, and maintain project activity reports indicating status (i.e., pre-feasibility, budget, RFQ).
- Assist in developing quarterly/yearly sales forecasts.
- Conduct product/process lunch and learn sessions.
- Work directly with represented manufacturers to obtain technical information, project pricing and special requirements.
- Promote Triple M Sales’ products at regional trade shows as required.

**Education, Skills and Experience**:

- Preferred: Degree in Business or Management
- Preferred: CET or strong experience in technical sales relevant to water systems/pumps preferably as an outside sales representative
- Preferred: Industry related experience
- Preferred; Outside Sales experience with ability to meet goals/targets.
- Technical education and background or experience in pumps and water systems
- Ability to successfully sell the assigned products; meet targets and goals; desire to be a high performer.
- Ability to effectively present ideas and influence buying decisions
- Analytical skills required for technical documents; review, and commentary.
- Superior and excellent people skills in communication
- Superior organizational skills - a self-starter who can work independently and as part of a busy team.
- Understanding of the sales cycle and effectively incorporate this for results.
- Better than average computer literacy; knowledge of Word, Office and Excel
