Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated Leasing Manager to join our Leasing team in Calgary for a period of 12 – 15 months. Your analytical skills, problem solving abilities and overall business acumen will be the key to our success.

As a member of this team, you will be responsible for:

Negotiating offers and leases with support from inside and outside counsel, property management and senior members of the leasing team

Taking a leading role in new tenant prospecting and business development

Managing the day-to-day leasing responsibilities and objectives of an assigned portfolio

Executing superior prospective tenant tours, presentations and client meetings

Liaising with brokers, tenants, legal and property management to achieve leasing goals and to resolve any tenant conflicts regarding leasing matters

Building and maintaining excellent long term relationships with the real estate brokerage community, existing tenants and owners. This is essential to the position

Creating and executing marketing initiatives to keep our properties “top of mind” with brokers and tenants

Preparing an annual leasing budget and providing regular updates and presentations to all key stakeholders

Delivering operational and customer service excellence in partnership with the broader Oxford team

Networking within the real estate community and attending industry events

To succeed in this role, you:

Have a University Degree with a focus in business or commerce preferred

Have a commercial real estate license or an ability to obtain one

Have 2 - 5 years of related Real Estate experience

Have a collaborate mindset with a demonstrated ability to work in a team environment

Demonstrate strong technical skills including financial analysis and presentation skills

Demonstrate strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills

Demonstrate superior written and verbal communication skills. Experience reporting to senior management, asset managers and/or building owners would be considered an asset.

Can adapt to a fast-paced work environment and manage competing priorities

Thrive in organizations that constantly evolve and adapt

Are driven to achieving results and continuously striving to deliver the highest performance through creative thinking
