The expected compensation for this position is $18-$19 per hour, considering factors like experience, skills, and qualifications. Base pay is just one component of our overall Total Rewards offering. Why We Need You: Our Nanaimo clinic is looking for someone like you to bring your exceptional skills and experience with you and join us as our newest Patient Services Specialist . You will play a critical role within FYidoctors by delivering world-class service to our patients. As our newest Patient Services Specialist you will be responsible for the retail and repair of eyewear products as well as follow-up care. Join us in advancing eye health and enhancing the lives of our patients in a dynamic and rewarding environment. This is a full-time, permanent position working up to 30-40 hours per week. Our clinic is open Monday to Saturdays so the ability to work select Saturdays is required. This role may also cover occasional needs in our Ladysmith and Parksville clinics. What Will You Be Doing?  Warmly greeting patients as they enter our clinic Checking patients both in and out of the office Communicating with patients in person, by phone, and by email Billing the patient, their medical service provider and other third parties Administering pre-testing services Managing appointment bookings, prescription printouts and billing and payments Upholding excellent customer service standards using your charisma and problem-solving skills
