A day in the life Externally, communicate with Veterinarian Professionals, Vet Clinic Managers, Large Clinic Group Customers to build relationships and grow Purina revenue within the Veterinarian Channel. Leverage Category Insights, Shopper Marketing, and Vet Communication Managers to develop and implement channel category and consumer‑centric strategies. Lead the joint business planning process with the National Large Clinic and Regional Groups. Develop and implement trade promotion strategies and tactical plans with the customer. Responsible for trade spend and maximize customer contribution by managing the budget. Identify profitable opportunities to grow incremental volume through new item listings, SKU optimization and distribution. Role Requirements 3+ years as a sales leader with a proven track record of delivering business results as an Account Manager or Key Account Manager within the CPG or healthcare industry. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience managing trade spend is an asset. Post‑secondary education in Business Administration or a related field. Effective communication, negotiation and strong leadership skills to present analytics and deliver presentations to various levels within the organization and externally to customers. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks with excellent time‑management and project‑management skills while paying attention to detail.
