Your Role in Our Journey Jane is hiring a Senior Data Analyst to support our Finance and Payments teams with trusted, accurate, and actionable insights. You will own complex SQL/dbt modeling, build and maintain core financial datasets, and create dashboards that help us understand revenue, payments, billing, and financial performance. The Impact You Could Have Collaborate with Finance and Payments to build, refine, and maintain metrics, models, and dashboards that power financial reporting. Own end‑to‑end analysis: understand business questions, write SQL/dbt models, build Looker dashboards, and communicate insights to stakeholders. Develop and optimise Looker dashboards for financial planning, revenue analysis, cost insights, and transaction‑level reporting. Maintain and evolve core financial data models in dbt. Troubleshoot data quality issues, validate calculations, and ensure trusted, reconciled datasets. Translate ambiguous requirements into clear technical solutions. Support modernization of our data architecture with best practices in modeling, documentation, QA, and performance tuning. Collaborate with cross‑functional partners when financial data intersects other domains. The Experience We Feel We Need 5+ years as a Data Analyst or BI Analyst in a high‑growth or complex product environment. Strong hands‑on experience with SQL, dbt, and Looker; able to write complex queries, model data, and build dashboards. Excellent communication skills; able to explain technical topics and financial logic to non‑technical audiences. Self‑driven and able to drive projects from concept to delivery. High attention to detail, especially with reconciliation, financial logic, metric definitions, and QA. Experience working with Finance stakeholders (FP&A, Accounting, Payments, Revenue Ops). Experience with GitHub/version control. Compensation Annual salary range: $100,000 – $156,300. Most new hires start at $118,800, a figure reflecting an accomplished level.
