Canada Jane App Full time

Join to apply for the Senior Data Analyst role at Jane App . Let's kick things off with a quick intro. Jane is a team that's all about fostering growth, spreading delight, and serving our healthcare community. We’re on the hunt for people ready to jump in and join us while we simplify the lives of healthcare practitioners and patients daily. Jane is a remote‑first company, meaning every role at Jane, including this one, is remote - giving you the freedom to work from any corner of Canada. About Jane We’re founder‑led and live our values while maintaining a clear vision for the future. Learn More About Us – our product enables physiotherapists, mental health counsellors, chiropractors, and other allied health practitioners to run their practices in a digital‑first way. Features include online booking, charting, scheduling, telehealth, secure payments and billing, and an evolving library of features. We pride on high standards for work quality and care for each other and our customers. We value curiosity, drive, and agility in learning new ways of thinking. Jane offers autonomy and flexibility to integrate work into your life. If you need to block time for family or personal commitments, we support that. We have virtual Slack channels and occasional in‑person get‑togethers, retreats, and conferences. We are looking for resourceful problem‑solvers who thrive in a fast‑paced environment. Your Role Jane is hiring a Sr. Data Analyst to support our Finance and Payments teams with trusted, accurate, and actionable insights. You’ll own complex SQL and dbt modeling, build and maintain core financial datasets, and create dashboards that help Jane understand revenue, payments, billing, and financial performance. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, is comfortable navigating ambiguous business questions, and brings a strong sense of ownership and attention to detail. You’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders to define requirements, validate logic, and deliver high‑quality data products that guide critical financial decisions. The Impact You Could Have Partner closely with the Finance and Payments teams to build and maintain the metrics, models, and dashboards that power Jane’s financial reporting. Own end‑to‑end analysis: from understanding business questions → writing SQL/dbt models → building Looker dashboards → sharing insights clearly with stakeholders. Develop and optimize Looker dashboards to support financial planning, revenue analysis, cost insights, and transaction‑level reporting. Maintain and evolve core financial data models in dbt. Troubleshoot data quality issues, validate calculations, and ensure trusted, reconciled datasets that Finance and Payments can rely on. Work with ambiguous requirements, identify gaps, ask the right questions, and translate business needs into clear technical solutions. Support the modernization of our data architecture by applying best practices in modeling, documentation, QA, and performance tuning. Collaborate with cross‑functional partners across Product, Support, and Marketing when financial data intersects. The Experience We Need 5+ years experience as a Data Analyst or BI Analyst in a high‑growth or complex product environment. Strong hands‑on experience with SQL, dbt, and Looker, able to write complex queries, model data, and build insightful dashboards. Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical topics and financial logic to non‑technical audiences. Ability to take initiative and ownership, work independently, and drive projects from concept to delivery. High attention to detail, especially with reconciliation, financial logic, metric definitions, and QA. Experience working with stakeholders in Finance (FP&A, Accounting, Payments, Revenue Ops). Experience with GitHub/version control. Compensation & Benefits The role has an annual salary range of $100,000 to $156,300 . Most new hires join at the accomplished stage, which for this role represents an annual salary of $118,800 . Salaries above this range typically apply to existing team members who have made a significant impact and bring deep Jane‑specific knowledge. We believe in paying for growth. You’ll have regular career development conversations with your manager, and your compensation will grow as you gain experience and contribute meaningfully to our mission. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package – learn more here . #J-18808-Ljbffr
