Position Overview — Join the Slots Analytics Team to drive decisions that impact millions of players worldwide. Analytics is central to our success, helping optimize the player journey through data and A/B testing. Your work may include designing analysis plans for live-ops events, modeling monetization effects, and diving into player segmentation. What You'll Do Collaborate with the Product team to enhance revenue, retention, and engagement metrics (A/B testing, insights analysis, dashboards). Design and maintain ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources, ensuring a source of truth for analyses and BI. Design game telemetry to capture meaningful player interaction data to improve the game experience. Analyze player behavior to understand motivations and preferences, partnering with game design and consumer insights teams to translate findings into actionable improvements. Actively engage with our games to maintain understanding of player experience, game mechanics, and pain points. Build, monitor, and maintain tools and models to streamline workflows and personalize the player experience, in collaboration with data analysts and data scientists. Participate in the Analytics Org’s AI initiative to increase impact through the power of LLMs. Continuously learn and share analytics best practices across games and teams. What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related quantitative field. Masters/PhD is a plus. Minimum of 4 years in data science or analytics roles (2 years with a Masters/PhD). Proficiency in Python and SQL. Experience in data mining, data visualization, experimental design, statistical analysis, and machine learning. Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Tableau) and version control (e.g., Git) is advantageous. Strong written and oral communication skills. Self-motivated with problem-solving orientation and willingness to own challenges. Ability to work collaboratively in a team. Familiarity with mobile games. Bonus Points Experience or interest in improving analytics processes using LLMs. Familiarity with slots gameplay and terminology. The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between $108,900 and $161,160 per year. The base pay offered is based on market location and may vary based on individual factors including knowledge, experience, and other business considerations. Total compensation may include bonus and/or equity, plus eligibility to participate in our 401(K) plan and Employee Stock Purchase Program.
