What is the opportunity

We are looking for an experience Business Development Manager to help Tekvaly grow and expand.


What will you do

As a Business Development Manager, you will be the driving force behind acquiring new clients and expanding our Engineering and staffing services. You’ll leverage your “hunter” mentality to generate your own leads, build relationships, and close deals. Your role includes identifying potential clients, conducting discovery meetings, presenting our staffing solutions, drafting proposals, and negotiating contracts to achieve business growth. You will work 100% remotely, with the opportunity to actively contribute to our success while having fun


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a proactive sales strategy to generate new leads through networking, cold outreach, and leveraging existing relationships.
  • Achieve new client contracts within the first 3 months by managing the sales process from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Meet with Hiring Managers to develop lasting relationships.
  • Building a sales pipeline and securing new business opportunities.
  • Maintain and track sales pipeline and opportunity progress using HubSpot.
  • Lead client negotiations and finalize contracts, working closely with internal teams as needed.
  • Provide regular updates during internal meetings, weekly 1:1s, and company-wide briefings.
  • Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews to evaluate performance and strategize for future growth.
  • Contribute significantly to meeting and exceeding our annual revenue targets.
  • Travel occasionally as required for client meetings and industry events.


What do you need to succeed

  • 3+ years of business development experience in a staffing agency environment.
  • 3+ years business development experience in a fast-paced IT, Engineering, Professional or prior experience as business development manager for a large staffing firms directly servicing clients
  • Strong “hunter” mentality with demonstrated success in generating leads and closing deals independently. Excellent sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • In-depth understanding of staffing solutions for engineering roles and current industry trends.
  • Proficient with CRM systems (HubSpot) for managing sales activities.
  • Highly motivated, results-driven, with exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop business relationships both virtually and in person.


Nice to Have

  • Previous experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with engineering or technical staffing
  • Advanced skills with CRM platforms like Salesforce or HubSpot.
