We are seeking an experienced and analytical General Manager to join our team. As a key member of the leadership team, the General Manager will work closely with the President to define company strategy, drive goal attainment, and support the development and execution of the company’s vision, purpose, client services, growth plans, business operations, corporate brand, and mission. The General Manager will be responsible for driving business performance and strategic initiatives while managing production, logistics, quality, cost management, and safety programs. Key responsibilities include developing and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), managing staffing requirements and annual budgets, supporting new product launches, business development, and optimizing manufacturing strategies. This is a full-time on site position. This position will lead all department managers, including production, finance, sales, logistics, purchasing, quality, and administration. Additionally, the General Manager will engage with customers and senior management to monitor and control costs, provide strategic guidance, and drive operational efficiencies in alignment with business objectives. RESPONSIBILITIES: Work collaboratively with the President and leadership team to define, execute and achieve key annual initiatives. Build, manage, develop, and lead high performing teams to successfully meet monthly targets, KPIs and defined departmental objectives. Report to the President on the overall operations, providing detailed insights into performance, sales trends, production output, customer satisfaction, and cost efficiency. Provide strategic guidance to the organization through participation in cross-functional meetings and data analysis on sales trends, production output, client satisfaction, budgeting and cost performance. Implement KPIs of operations, including quality, service, safety, client services, and cost and develop action plans with department leaders to devise plans to meet goals and course correct as needed. Develop the annual operations budget, analyzing spending patterns and resource allocation to ensure financial efficiency. Design strategies to remove production constraints by guiding allocation of manpower and equipment resources effectively to meet manufacturing goals. Conduct performance appraisals, offering coaching and guidance to enhance business operations and team performance. Collaborate closely with HR to ensure effective talent management, recruitment, and employee development strategies are aligned with company goals. Train and develop team members, fostering their growth and readiness for future leadership roles, while creating backup plans for each department to support long-term success. Effectively communicate business plan to departments ensuring the team is prepared, organized, and aware of targets and objectives. Focus on maximizing Company resources and continuous improvement plans, quality control standards, and LEAN and Six Sigma methodologies into daily operational activities. Take a proactive role in health and safety, conducting regular inspections and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Create and foster an inclusive and engaged culture based on continuous improvement that motivates the Stage team to exceed targets by providing ongoing mentoring and support. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or Finance; Master’s in Business or Engineering preferred. Over 10 years of management experience in high-volume manufacturing, including LEAN manufacturing, Kaizen, and Six Sigma certification. Strong expertise in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and analytical skills. Proven ability to solve complex, multi-disciplinary issues with a focus on continuous improvement. Experience leading teams in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with departments like Finance, Logistics, IT, Sales, Production, Quality, Purchasing and more. Exceptional communication skills (oral and written) for reports, contracts, bids, and internal/external correspondence. In-depth knowledge of tools for assessing materials, equipment, and services, and expertise in negotiation and conflict resolution. Strong ability to build lasting relationships with key business partners and internal departments, supporting successful collaboration. Skilled in people management, with a focus on diplomacy, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
