Job Summary:

  • Job Title – Business Development Manager
  • Job Type – Contract
  • Location - Remote
  • Salary – 100% Commission.
  • Working hours – Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm


As the Business Development Manager, you will play a critical role in advancing our market position by identifying and qualifying new opportunities and leading sales activities. Your primary responsibility will be to cultivate relationships with senior executives in target companies to drive top-line revenue. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of sales strategies related to logistics solutions and services while executing key sales campaigns and initiatives.

Responsibilities included, but not limited to:

  • Generate outside sales leads and revenue through independently growing existing account lines and soliciting new accounts.
  • Drive pipeline, sales, and revenue.
  • Create effective sales strategies by gathering market intelligence and capitalizing on opportunities.
  • Participate in innovating the sales process and continuously improving sales operations.
  • Secure new customers and account acquisitions while maintaining and developing existing accounts.
  • Promote the services and products of all entities and coordinate sales efforts with other department sales.
  • Analyze and conduct research on potential clients, educating them about our shipping solutions.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by maintaining close contact with all customers and addressing concerns or issues promptly.
  • Execute and monitor strategic and tactical goals to maximize sales, profit, and ensure sales targets are met or exceeded.
  • Consult and develop strategies with potential customers through phone, virtual, and in-person meetings on transportation.
  • Develop, facilitate, and negotiate the proposal pricing process and rate agreements with customers.
  • Meet and exceed targets set for contributing to revenue generation for the department.
  • Provide documented activity reports of sales efforts on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/ Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • At least 3+ years of sales experience in logistics/supply chain, 3PL, and transportation industry.
  • Outstanding entrepreneurial and negotiating skills at closing deals and cold-calls.
  • Superior customer relation skills, excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills.
  • Sound organizational, records management, and time management skills, plus excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
