Job Description:


As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing various engineering, procurement and construction projects within the client’s site, ensuring they are completed safely, efficiently, and within budgetary constraints. The successful candidate will be required to solve problems, produce deliverables and provide leadership with minimal supervision.


Key Responsibilities:


Manage and coordinate engineering activities for construction and brownfield projects.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets.

Provide technical expertise and support throughout all phases of project execution, including design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.

Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure the safety and integrity of project activities.

Monitor project progress, identify deviations from plans, and implement corrective actions as necessary to keep projects on track.

Interface with regulatory agencies, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.

Prepare project documentation, including engineering drawings, specifications, reports, and presentations.


Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.

Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in the province of Alberta.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering, construction, and brownfield projects within the oil and gas industry.

Strong technical knowledge of engineering principles, construction practices, and project management methodologies.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with a hands-on attitude.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
