Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our Horizon Project Engineering team. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting in the execution of multi-disciplinary capital projects, developing your knowledge and experience in engineering, project management, and field construction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop detail engineering by in-house and 3rd party engineering contractors, ensuring all engineering deliverables and contractual obligations are met.
  • Participate in various internal project activities, including HAZOPS, 3D model reviews, procurement activities, and deliverables review process.
  • Assist the construction group in the proper review and resolution of all engineering and technical issues that arise outside the approved engineering design.
  • Develop and maintain project engineering tools and templates.
  • Conduct field walk downs during construction and measure construction progress.
  • Manage contract formation and change orders to support construction.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor Engineering or Master's Degree Program.
  • Good knowledge of the basics of Excel and analytical skills.
  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
