About the Role

Adecco Canada is seeking a highly skilled Project/Materials Engineer to join our client's team in a full-time capacity. This role focuses on overseeing materials selection, project planning, and execution for various engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop equipment strategies for fixed equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Evaluate damage mechanisms based on process conditions and inspection history to determine probability of failure and provide recommended mitigating actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including inspections personnel, mechanical engineering, operations, and process technical, to develop equipment strategies.
Requirements
  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
  • Must be local to Fort McMurray or willing to relocate.
  • Must be a P.Eng (Professional Engineer) from APEGA.
  • Undergraduate degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of work experience as a Materials Engineer.
  • Ability to manage own time and address numerous issues simultaneously.
  • Developed interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with broad stakeholders.
  • Good knowledge of applicable Codes, Standards, and Regulatory requirements.
