About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineering Student to join our Horizon Project Engineering team. As a Project Engineering Student, you will be integrated into our team and will assist in the execution of multi-disciplinary capital projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop detail engineering by in-house and 3rd party engineering contractors to ensure all engineering deliverables and contractual obligations are met.
  • Participate in various internal project activities, including HAZOPS, 3D model reviews, procurement activities, and deliverables review process.
  • Assist the construction group in reviewing and resolving engineering and technical issues that arise outside the approved engineering design.
  • Develop and maintain project engineering tools and templates.
  • Conduct field walk downs during construction and measure construction progress.
  • Manage change orders to support construction.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor Engineering or Master's Degree Program.
  • Good knowledge of the basics of Excel and analytical skills.
  • Good understanding of pressure vessels, pressure piping, and valves.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
