As a key player, you'll be at the forefront of introducing state-of-the-art technology and reagents

to top-tier hospitals in downtown Toronto. This is more than just a sales position—it's a chance

to shape the future of diagnostic solutions and make a tangible impact on patient care.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Advanced Degree : Ph.D. or M.Sc. with a solid track record in the diagnostic industry.
  • Proven Experience : Demonstrated success in selling to hospital core labs in downtown Toronto.
  • Passion for Growth : Expertise in generating new accounts and nurturing existing relationships.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Generate new business while retaining existing major clients.
  • Maintain multiple levels of strategic contacts within these accounts.
  • Deal with quotations, RFPs, contracts, and tenders.
  • Attend and represent company at meetings and shows.
  • Provide forecasts and reports using Salesforce.com.

TERRITORY:

  • Downtown Toronto.
  • Home office based, with local travel to customer sites.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ph.D. or M.Sc. with appropriate experience .
  • 5 years of hands-on successful business development / sales experience, preferably in the niche Toronto Hospital Clinical Diagnostics Laboratory sector.
  • List of key personal contacts / decision makers in the GTA.
  • Able to make an impact, and handle long, 2 to 3 year sales cycles.
  • Outstanding sales and bus dev track record.
  • Proactive, with strong leadership and technical skills.
  • Strong technical scientific background.
  • Excellent customer relationship management.
  • Experience with MS software.
  • Any Salesforce.com experience an asset.
  • Living in the Greater Toronto area.
