We’re growing fast and looking for a creative, detail-driven Graphic Pre-Press Specialist with digital pre-press experience to join our Guelph team. If you're the kind of designer who understands both the art and the technical side of print, file prep, colour management, dielines, and production accuracy, this role is for you. What You’ll Do This role focuses on designing for print, preparing production-ready artwork, and supporting customers and internal teams with accurate and high-quality visual output. You’ll play a key role in ensuring every can, sleeve, and printed piece meets both creative expectations and manufacturing requirements. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Design & Pre-Press Production: Create and prepare artwork for digital can printing, shrink sleeves, labels, and packaging Review customer files to ensure they meet print requirements Build, modify, and set up dielines and templates Handle colour correction, trapping, imposition, and file optimization for print Prepare final press-ready files for digital and shrink-sleeve production Maintain organized project files and ensure consistent output quality Customer & Internal Support: Collaborate with sales, operations, and customers to clarify artwork requirements Provide recommendations, proofs, and design adjustments when needed Troubleshoot artwork issues and suggest solutions that work for both design and production Assist the production team by ensuring files are compliant with machine and substrate specifications Support the creation of internal marketing assets when needed (cans, mockups, flyers, displays, etc.) What You Bring to the Table 2–4 years of graphic design experience , ideally in packaging, printing, or digital pre-press Strong understanding of print workflows and pre-press processes Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign Knowledge of colour profiles, CMYK vs RGB, spot colours, and press limitations Experience preparing accurate dielines, bleed, safe areas, and production-ready artwork Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy is critical Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset Ready to Apply?
