Under the leadership of the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for managing the Marketing Specialist will be responsible for managing and executing marketing initiatives that align with the company’s strategic goals. This role requires a dynamic and creative professional who can effectively handle a variety of tasks, including content creation, campaign management, and data analysis, to drive brand awareness and engagement.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Plan content for in store and online promotions to drive traffic
- Maintain quoting and track marketing spend to budget with a direct line to the Finance team
- Manage promotional timelines, including sign offs and proofing
- Plan, create, and execute internal and external marketing contests and giveaways to help build brand recognition and acquire new rewards members
- Proof and distribute press releases to designated recipients
- Manage external relationships with partners, vendors, and suppliers
- Manage in-store audio content
- Assist Marketing Manager in the development and execution of campaigns, new company initiatives and special projects as assigned
- More than three (3) years' experience in marketing in a retail environment
- Degree or Diploma in a relevant field (Marketing, Administration, etc.)
- Knowledge of the pet industry (considerable asset)
- Familiar with Ecommerce & OMNI Channel Marketing
- Ability to manage multiple projects, planning, and organization of work
- Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate rigor and attention to detail
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office environment (Word, intermediate Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook) and SharePoint
