Fire Safety and Protection (FSP) is a leading provider of life safety solutions across the U.S. and Canada, delivering code‑compliant systems and dedicated service to commercial property owners and facility managers. Position Sales Account Manager – Mid‑Senior level, Full‑time, Sales and Business Development. Responsibilities Client Relationship Management Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with clients, understanding their life safety and security requirements. Serve as the primary liaison, ensuring smooth communication and promptly addressing client concerns. Sales and Business Development Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities for fire alarms, intrusion detection, CCTV, and access control. Create and execute account plans to grow business with key clients. Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs. Win new clients through long‑term service agreements or competitive takeovers and retrofits. Solution Consulting Collaborate with technical teams to ensure solutions meet client needs and regulatory requirements. Provide product demonstrations and technical guidance on life safety and security systems. Project Coordination Oversee implementation and delivery, coordinating with installation teams to meet deadlines and budgets. Monitor and follow up on maintenance and service of existing systems. Reporting Complete daily CRM updates and track metrics. Communicate changes during daily huddles and prepare regular sales reports, client updates, and forecasts for management. Compliance and Regulatory Knowledge Stay informed about local, state, and federal regulations related to life safety and security systems and ensure solutions comply with these standards. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field (equivalent experience in the industry accepted). Experience: 3+ years in sales, account management, or customer service in the life safety, security, or related technical industry; proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Skills and Competencies Strong understanding of fire alarms, video surveillance, access control, and intrusion detection systems. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail. Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred: Experience with fire protection systems, building codes, or security systems integrators; certifications related to life safety and security systems (e.g., CFAA). Physical Requirements Prolonged sitting at a desk and computer work. Ability to lift 15 pounds at times. Must be able to travel. Benefits Competitive salary with results‑driven bonus structure.
