Job Description The Restaurant Manager supports the Restaurant Assistant General Manager (AGM) in the daily operations of Eataly’s full-service restaurants. Reporting to the Restaurant AGM, the Manager oversees front-of-house staff including servers, bartenders, food runners, hosts, bussers, and barbacks. Assists with hiring, training, evaluating, and terminating staff Documents, investigates, escalates, and resolves employee and guest incidents Ensures high service standards are maintained and activities are effectively carried out Inspects dining and storage areas for health and safety compliance Manages food and beverage needs, supervises orders Reviews sales, inventory, and costs to monitor budgets Coordinates with staff for restaurant activities and special events Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications At least 2 years of experience leading or managing a front-of-house restaurant team Understanding of steps of service Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Restaurant Management or Hospitality preferred Knowledge of Italian cuisine and beverages highly preferred Job Requirements Availability to work onsite with flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending, and squatting Food Handler’s License preferred Additional Information Eataly is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
