Talent Acquisition is central to enabling LGC to deliver on its mission of 'Science for a Safer World'. You'll be supporting a range of departments within the LGC Standards Toronto site, focusing on sourcing the best talent possible and ensuring a best-in-class candidate experience.

This is a hybrid role, based from our LGC Standards site in Toronto.

What You'll Do:

  • Partner with Hiring Managers to solve key hiring problems across bothTechnical (Life Sciences) and Manufacturing functions, advising on hiring strategy and processes.
  • Build high quality talent pipelines through various methods; direct sourcing, events and through advertising channels.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, identifying any gaps and partnering with stakeholders to solve them.
  • Champion DEIB initiatives around Talent Acquisition.
    • Proven experience in Recruitment/Talent Acquisition, ideally within the Life Science or Technology industry.
    • Experience with high volume recruitment (warehouse/manufacturing) is beneficial.
    • Demonstrable experience sourcing (boolean/x-ray search) and attracting talent in niche areas.
    • Sequential and data-driven mindset.
    • Experience partnering with stakeholders to solve complex and time-sensitive hiring challenges.
    • Knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter and Applicant Tracking Systems. (e.g. SmartRecruiters)
