Position Overview:

The Property Manager will play a critical role in overseeing the daily operations of a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial properties. Key Responsibilities:

Property Management:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple residential and commercial properties, ensuring they are maintained to high standards.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and address maintenance issues promptly.
  • Coordinate and supervise repair and maintenance activities, liaising with contractors and vendors as needed.
  • Develop and implement property management policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.


Tenant Relations:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and fostering positive relationships.
  • Manage lease agreements, renewals, and rent collection, ensuring all terms and conditions are adhered to.
  • Coordinate tenant move-ins and move-outs, including inspections and damage assessments.


Financial Management:

  • Prepare and manage property budgets, monitor expenses, and provide regular financial reports to property owners.
  • Analyze financial statements and variances, implementing cost-effective measures to optimize property profitability.
  • Assist in setting rental rates by conducting market research and analysis.


Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure all properties comply with local regulations, building codes, and health and safety standards.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies, including emergency preparedness and response plans.


What You Bring to the Team:

  • 3+ years of experience in property management, preferably in both residential and commercial settings.
  • Strong knowledge of property management practices, leasing, and tenant relations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bilingual in French and English.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

Responsabilités principales :

Gestion de la propriété :

  • Superviser les opérations quotidiennes de plusieurs propriétés résidentielles et commerciales, en veillant à ce qu'elles soient maintenues à des normes élevées.
  • Effectuer des inspections régulières des propriétés pour assurer la conformité aux règlements de sécurité et traiter les problèmes de maintenance rapidement.
  • Coordonner et superviser les activités de réparation et d'entretien, en collaborant avec les entrepreneurs et les fournisseurs au besoin.
  • Développer et mettre en œuvre des politiques et procédures de gestion immobilière pour améliorer l'efficacité opérationnelle.


Relations avec les locataires :

  • Servir de point de contact principal pour les locataires, répondre aux demandes, résoudre les problèmes et entretenir des relations positives.
  • Gérer les contrats de location, les renouvellements et la collecte des loyers, en veillant à ce que tous les termes et conditions soient respectés.
  • Coordonner les entrées et sorties des locataires, y compris les inspections et les évaluations des dommages.


Gestion financière :

  • Préparer et gérer les budgets des propriétés, surveiller les dépenses et fournir des rapports financiers réguliers aux propriétaires.
  • Analyser les états financiers et les écarts, en mettant en œuvre des mesures rentables pour optimiser la rentabilité des propriétés.
  • Aider à la fixation des loyers en effectuant des recherches et des analyses de marché.


Conformité et gestion des risques :

  • Veiller à ce que toutes les propriétés respectent les règlements locaux, les codes du bâtiment et les normes de santé et de sécurité.
  • Développer et mettre en œuvre des stratégies de gestion des risques, y compris des plans de préparation et de réponse aux urgences.
