Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, contributing to the distribution and management of products. This position involves various tasks related to shipping, receiving, and inventory management, requiring both physical stamina and mechanical knowledge.

Wedding / Event Decor related experience preferred.

Duties

  • Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, clamp trucks, and cranes for loading and unloading materials.
  • Perform order picking tasks accurately and efficiently to fulfill customer orders.
  • Manage shipping and receiving processes, ensuring all items are accounted for and properly documented.
  • Utilize a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory levels and assist in maintaining stock accuracy.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure safe operation.
  • Assist with heavy lifting and moving of products within the warehouse environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
  • Support construction projects as needed by providing materials and equipment.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in warehouse distribution or a similar role is preferred.
  • Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for operating various types of equipment.
  • Familiarity with order picking processes and heavy equipment operation is essential.
  • Ability to lift heavy items consistently throughout the shift.
  • Experience with shipping & receiving protocols is a plus.
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems will be beneficial for tracking inventory.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
