Job Summary

A.S. LADDI FOODS CORPORATION is seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks related to warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, order picking, and heavy lifting. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring safety and accuracy in all tasks.

Duties

  • Operate warehouse distribution equipment, including forklifts, cranes, and clamp trucks.
  • Load and unload materials and products from delivery trucks.
  • Perform order picking duties, accurately selecting items for shipment based on customer orders.
  • Maintain organization within the warehouse by following established procedures for inventory management.
  • Utilize a warehouse management system to track inventory levels and manage stock locations.
  • Assist in shipping and receiving operations, ensuring that all products are accounted for and properly documented.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation and report any mechanical issues.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and maintain a clean work environment.

Skills

  • Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution environments.
  • Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and clamp trucks.
  • Strong understanding of shipping & receiving processes.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as required by the job.
  • Familiarity with order picking techniques and best practices.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems is preferred.
