Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts and ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials within the warehouse. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Operate forklifts, including clamp trucks and order pickers, to move materials throughout the warehouse.
  • Load and unload trucks, ensuring accurate placement of products.
  • Perform order picking tasks using a warehouse management system to fulfill customer orders efficiently.
  • Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety compliance.
  • Assist in maintaining an organized and clean work environment within the warehouse.
  • Engage in heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Skills

  • Proficient in warehouse distribution processes and practices.
  • Experience operating clamp trucks and forklifts safely and effectively.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues as they arise.
  • Basic math skills for inventory management and order accuracy.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks consistently throughout the shift.
