Position Summary

The HR Coordinator for Recruitment, Training, and Development plays a pivotal role in supporting human resources functions in corporate office and hotel properties in BC. This position focuses on attracting, hiring, onboarding, and nurturing employees to foster growth and organizational success. The coordinator ensures that recruitment processes are efficient, training programs are relevant and engaging, and development initiatives align with both employee aspirations and organizational goals. This role reports directly to HR Manager. Business travel may be required.

Responsibilities

Recruitment:

· Coordinate and manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, resume screenings, interview scheduling, and candidate communications.

· Work closely with hiring managers and marketing team to identify staffing needs and create attractive job descriptions.

· Maintain and update applicant tracking systems and recruitment databases.

· Conduct initial interviews and assist with candidate assessments.

· Perform reference checks for final stage.

Training:

· Organize onboarding sessions and orientation programs for new hires.

· Schedule and coordinate internal and external training sessions and staff events.

· Monitor employee participation and feedback to improve future training initiatives.

· Maintain accurate training records and certifications.

Development:

· Assist in the design and rollout of employee development programs (e.g., mentorship, leadership training).

· Track progress of individual development plans and recommend adjustments as needed.

· Promote continuous learning and career growth opportunities within the organization.

Qualifications

· Completion of a college or university program with a focus on Human Resources.

· At least 2 years of work experience in Human Resources in a fast-paced environment.

· An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

· Knowledge of BC Employment Standards Act, privacy law, Workers Compensation Act and Occupational Health and Safety Regulation.

· Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Proficiency in HR software and applicant tracking systems.

· Ability to build relationships and collaborate across departments.

· Attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality.

· Experience with recruitment and training processes preferred.

· Valid Class 5 Driver License is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
