InThink Human Resources is working with our Law Firm client to find the perfect candidate to join their team as a Paralegal with a focus on family law to work out of their Vancouver office.

Job Description

The Paralegal will have at least 5 year of experience working in the legal field. The Paralegal will have the ability to proactively multitask and complete essential duties for the firm.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the lawyers to handle client
  • Communicating with client when needed to gather information from them
  • Sending information to clients in a timely manner
  • Ensuring that information that Lawyers need is provided to them
  • Guaranteeing that work submitted is error free
  • Proactively solving possible client issues with the Lawyers
  • Working as part of a team on files
  • Multi-tasking to work on various files alongside Lawyers
  • Creating diligent work on files
  • Researching and keeping up with changes in legal environment

Qualifications

  • Minimum of five (5) year of paralegal work focusing on family law
  • Microsoft Office and computer knowledge experience is required
  • Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
  • Must be able to keep private matters strictly confidential
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and customer service abilities

Compensation

  • Competitive salary between $60,000/year to $80,000/year
  • Benefits will be provided after successfully completing the waiting period
