. The ideal candidate will work effectively with all stakeholders, and Indigenous communities, to provide a valued service as an industry expert in civil construction services. Your base location will be

and will require travel throughout our great province.
THE PROJECT
The Project Manager will lead the Highway 97 Cottonwood Hill Phase 3 Stabilization Project, a major MoTT initiative located north of Quesnel. This project includes large-scale earthworks, slope stabilization, structural reinforcement, and geotechnical instrumentation/monitoring to enhance long-term safety and reliability along this critical transportation corridor.
What Success Looks Like

- Lead and manage the project team throughout the full project lifecycle, from initiation through close-out.
- Collaborate with the Senior Project Manager to develop detailed project budgets, monitor cost performance, and support financial forecasting.
- Create clear and attainable project objectives and provide regularly scheduled project updates.
- Support field operations by assisting with on-site challenges and working through the field supervisory team to maintain productivity and safety.

- Forecast, plan, and assess labour and equipment needs
- Effectively communicate project expectations to site Superintendents and stakeholders in a timely, professional manner and on an ongoing basis.
- Oversee and support Superintendents in managing crews, subcontractors, equipment, and daily on-site activities.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date project documentation, including correspondence, RFIs, change orders, and daily reporting.
- Review and approve invoices and progress claims, verifying quantities, unit rates, and percent-complete, and lead the preparation of the monthly progress submission.
- Deliver projects in a safe, timely, profitable manner while maintaining the highest level of quality.
- Provide strong leadership and management to the team while focusing on project objectives and in adhering to the standard policies and procedures.
- Work closely with internal clients to ensure a team approach to project delivery.
- Source, select, and qualify the hiring of employees and develop and retain talent.
- In collaboration with Safety Manager, manage and model site safety having zero tolerance for safety infractions.
What You Bring
- Minimum ten (10) years of experience in the construction industry with a strong understanding of civil construction practices; and
- Minimum of five (5) years of construction Project Manager experience.
- Certified Engineering Technologist or Project Management Professional (PMP) considered an asset.
- Experience managing projects in excess of $10 million.
- Demonstrated skills in management, and effective decision-making capabilities.
- Strong project execution experience with focus on planning, scheduling, cost, and risk management.
- Demonstrated ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
