Amplify Consulting Inc. (Amplify) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Client Project Manager to join our team in Kamloops, B.C. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic and busy environments juggling many projects at once, communicates effectively with clients and team members, and enjoys problem-solving. The Client Project Manager will play a key role in helping to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, meeting key objectives to help Amplify clients amplify their impact.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Quick learner with the ability to easily adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong problem-solving skills and effective communicator
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Skilled at taking notes during meetings to create clear and concise summaries, assigning tasks to team members to complete projects, and setting clear timelines for implementation
  • Ability to follow tasks through from initiation to completion, providing guidance to a team
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working on developing communications strategies and leading/supporting stakeholder engagement
  • Experience working with the Asana project management program
  • Experience working in Canva to update design templates
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience developing and deploying press releases and media advisories, building relationships with local, provincial, and national media outlets

Must reside in Kamloops, B.C. to be considered for this position

Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and control communications across multiple projects for multiple clients
  • Lead meetings with clients to understand their objectives
  • Establish communications strategies to help clients achieve their objectives
  • Maintain strong communication with co-workers and clients
  • Obtain quotes from contractors and other companies for Amplify projects
  • Manage team capacity and workflow to ensure timely, budget-conscious delivery
  • Collaborate with the CEO and Client Project Managers to provide insights on workload trends and capacity needs
  • Identify opportunities to improve Amplify's systems and processes, and implement those improvements
  • Edit and proofread reports, documents, press releases, and other communications materials
  • Support evolving responsibilities as the role grows
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the CEO

Working conditions:

Flexible to work from anywhere, primarily your own home office. Some travel may be required for in-person team or client meetings/events. The successful candidate preferably lives within the Kamloops, B.C. region.

Physical requirements:

This position is set primarily in a home office setting with minimal lifting and carting of materials for external events.

Direct report: Reports to CEO

Compensation: Compensation for this role will range from $25/hour to $32/hour depending on experience and qualifications.
