WE ARE HIRING LEAD HORTICULTURIST FOR THE MAINTENANCE DIVISION. AVAILABLE FOR THE 2026 SEASON.

Job Title: Lead Horticulturist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and perform daily operations of the horticulture department.

  • Develop and implement horticultural plans and projects.

  • Monitor plant health and growth. Diagnose, research and solve current or potential problems in the landscape setting. Working within the Standard Operating Procedures.

  • Prune and maintain plant material to horticultural standards.

  • Converse with clients on a daily basis.

  • Use of small equipment and hand tools.

  • Take directions and work collaboratively.

Qualifications:

  • Certificate, Red Seal and/or Diploma in Horticulture or related field.

  • 5-7 years of hands-on experience with reputable landscape provider. References a must.

  • Valid Applicator's license for pesticide/herbicide control with a minimum 1year remaining. Proof required.

  • Valid driver's license with a driver's abstract. Reliable transportation.

  • Mature, reliable, and able to work both as a team and independently.

  • Working Android or iPhone cell phone.

  • Available Monday thru Friday, full-time, March to end of November (weather dependent). Hourly rate based per qualifications, will be discussed. $27-$30plus to start.
