Peak Cellars is located on a scenic 7-acre property and home to our Goldie Road vineyard. In addition to producing award-winning wines, our half-acre organic vegetable garden and two greenhouses supply fresh, high-quality fruits and vegetables for our Garden Bistro. We are a passionate team of food and wine enthusiasts dedicated to excellence, sustainability, and the beauty of the Okanagan.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Landscaper to join our landscape team and help maintain the beauty and productivity of our grounds. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and is excited to contribute to a vibrant hospitality and culinary-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain lawns by mowing, trimming, and edging
  • Prune and care for trees, shrubs, and perennials
  • Weed, mulch, and maintain garden beds and pathways
  • Assist with planting, soil preparation, and transplanting in both ornamental and vegetable gardens
  • Operate landscaping equipment such as trimmers, blowers, mowers, and small machinery
  • Water and fertilize as needed, including hanging baskets and planters
  • Support seasonal garden tasks (e.g., cleanup, leaf collection, planting rotations)
  • Collaborate with the Garden Bistro team to harvest and maintain edible plants and greenhouse crops
  • Follow all safety protocols and best practices

Qualifications:

  • Positive attitude and willingness to work outdoors in all weather
  • Physically fit and able to perform manual labor
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Previous landscaping or horticulture experience is an asset but not required
  • Ability to work independently and take direction from the Head Landscaper
  • Valid driver's licence preferred
