Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Head Chef/Line Cooks to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent cooking skills, and experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role involves preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting the overall kitchen operations to ensure an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Leadership qualities and team management skills are highly valued to foster a collaborative and efficient kitchen atmosphere.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
  • Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations
  • Supervise junior kitchen staff and ensure timely completion of orders
  • Manage food handling procedures to ensure hygiene and safety compliance
  • Collaborate with restaurant management to optimize kitchen workflow and service efficiency
  • Serve dishes promptly while maintaining presentation standards
  • Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of shortages
  • Uphold hospitality standards by providing excellent service to both team members and guests

Experience

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or food service setting
  • Supervising experience or leadership roles in a kitchen environment is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling procedures
  • Familiarity with restaurant management operations and team management skills
  • Experience working in the food industry with a focus on hospitality and customer service excellence
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to lead by example, foster teamwork, and support a positive work environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 38 per week
