We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Agent to join our dynamic team. This is a commission-based position offering a highly competitive commission for each lease signed.
As a Leasing Agent, you will play a key role in guiding prospective tenants through the leasing process while ensuring a smooth and positive experience. This role requires strong communication, excellent customer service, and effective negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants.
- Respond to inquiries through phone, email, and other communication channels.
- Proactively follow up with prospective tenants to maintain engagement and close deals.
- Prepare and process lease agreements in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of applications, lease agreements, and property listings in property management software.
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing tenant concerns and supporting smooth move-in processes.
- Travel to various property locations to meet with clients and conduct tours.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Previous office experience with a focus on administrative tasks.
- Strong sales skills with a proven track record in customer service.
- Knowledge of property management practices and relevant regulations is an asset.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Familiarity with filing systems and general office organization.
- Exceptional phone etiquette and professional communication skills.
- Reliable transportation is required to meet clients and conduct property tours across the city.
- Flexibility to respond to leads and follow up outside standard business hours.
