Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations in our fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for food service, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety and quality, and maintaining high standards of service in both casual and fine dining settings.

Duties

  • Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and efficient workflow.
  • Train, develop, and manage staff to deliver excellent customer service and maintain high standards.
  • Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and adherence to safety regulations.
  • Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and conducting regular stock checks.
  • Utilize POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) for cash handling and transaction management.
  • Implement budgeting strategies to optimize operational costs while maximizing profitability.
  • Conduct interviews and hire new team members as needed to maintain staffing levels.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in all areas of the restaurant.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with kitchen management to develop menus that align with customer preferences and seasonal offerings.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food handling practices.
  • Experience with inventory control systems and cash handling procedures.
  • Familiarity with quick service & fast food environments as well as fine dining establishments is preferred.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a focus on creating positive dining experiences.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.
  • Background in hospitality management or culinary arts is advantageous.
