Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee the daily operations of Hilltech Canada. Hilltech is a producer of flavors for the food industry and has a production line. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food industry knowledge, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining operational excellence to provide an outstanding dining experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategies and business plans to advance the company's mission and objectives and to promote revenue, profitability, and the growth as a company.
  • Actively participate as a team member in making decisions, Coordinating, and communicating with personnel on the management of the SQF systems and policies
  • Be the company's representative, in accordance with the president, for interactions with staff, clients, and public affairs
  • Manage resources efficiently and effectively to achieve the company's objectives.
  • Oversees the company operations to ensure effective operational management control, production efficiency, quality, service, and cost effectiveness management of resources.
  • Plan, develop and implement strategies for generating resources and /or revenue for the company.
  • Review activity and financial statements, to determine progress and status in attaining objectives and revise objectives and plan in accordance with current conditions.
  • Oversee business entities to include evaluating investment opportunity, operations, and financial performance.
  • Take appropriate action to ensure the integrity of the SQF system.
  • Involved in the review and maintenance of the food safety systems.
  • Understand the SQF food safety code as it relates to the manufacturing and the requirements relevant to the site's scope of certification.
