Position Summary
The Rental Property Manager will oversee a large portfolio of residential condo rentals, manage tenant and landlord communications, coordinate maintenance issues, and ensure compliance with Ontario's Residential Tenancies Act. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has deep experience with Toronto rentals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations for a large portfolio of residential condo rentals.
- Communicate with tenants, landlords, and building management regarding maintenance, payments, and general inquiries.
- Resolve conflicts and complex issues professionally and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with the Residential Tenancies Act (RTA) and Landlord and Tenant Board (LTB) processes.
- Coordinate work orders with contractors and building management (remotely; no on-site visits).
- Maintain accurate documentation and records within internal systems.
- Provide responsive, high-level customer service to landlords, tenants, and partners.
- Handle insurance claims and coordinate with insurers, adjusters, and building management as required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of rental/property management experience in Toronto
- Strong knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act (RTA) and Landlord and Tenant Board (LTB) procedures
- Fluent in Cantonese
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think clearly under pressure
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage relationships with tenants, landlords, and vendors
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling high-volume workflows
- Tech-savvy and comfortable with spreadsheets, property management software, and digital tools
