Responsibilities

  • Prepare for the opening, set up your workplace, adjust the grind size of the espresso, clean the space
  • Preparing syrups for drinks, keeping track of stock
  • Prepare espresso-based drinks, matcha beverages, and other specialty drinks consistently and efficiently
  • Take customer orders, process sales through POS, and handle payments accurately
  • Serve baked goods and maintain a welcoming, professional atmosphere
  • Learn product details and ingredients to assist customers with questions
  • Help with small tasks around the bakery (for example stamp bags & cups)
  • Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit
  • Maintain cleanliness of the front-of-house area, including dining tables, counters, and service stations
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction

Qualifications

  • Previous barista experience required; latte art skills preferred
  • Food Handler certificate
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment
  • Barista experience or knowledge of coffee preparation is desirable
  • Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential
  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with customers
  • Enjoy working in a small, collaborative team environment
  • Important to be able to organize your own time. For example if there is a down time - help stamping bags & cups or refill the display case.
  • Advanced English level skills required.

Schedule to start:

7:00 / 7:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Thursday & Friday

8:00/8:30 am to 12:00 on Saturday & Sunday

Pay: $18/h + tips

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 25 per week
