Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a cook who is specialized in breakfast menu and can use the crepe machine.This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop culinary skills within a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and delivering excellent service to our customers. This position is ideal for someone with a keen interest in cooking and hospitality, looking to gain valuable experience in a professional kitchen setting.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing ingredients and cooking dishes according to established recipes and standards .
  • Support the kitchen team in meal preparation and presentation
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations
  • Ensure all food is stored correctly and labelled appropriately
  • Help with serving food to customers when required
  • Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment
  • Contribute positively to team efforts, supporting colleagues as needed

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant environments is desirable but not essential; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
  • Basic understanding of culinary techniques and meal preparation processes
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication skills and a friendly attitude towards colleagues and customers
  • Flexibility to work shifts as required, including weekends if necessary
