Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Breakfast Cook to join our culinary team. Duties

  • Prepare and cook breakfast items according to menu specifications and recipes
  • Ensure all food is prepared safely and in compliance with food handling regulations
  • Assist with menu planning and suggest new breakfast dishes or improvements
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area before, during, and after service
  • Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies need replenishing
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy hours
  • Follow food safety protocols, including proper knife skills and sanitation procedures
  • Assist in catering or special event meal preparations as needed
  • Serve breakfast dishes efficiently while maintaining high quality standards

Skills

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles, preferably in fine dining or restaurant settings
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
  • Experience with menu planning and meal preparation for breakfast service
  • Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking methods
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours
  • Knowledge of the food industry, including kitchen experience and food service operations
  • Familiarity with dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and quality control
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
