About the Role
We are a growing commercial locks, doors, and glass service company seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to expand our B2B client base across Ontario.
This role is 100% business-to-business — no residential sales, no retail walk-ins.
You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing long-term relationships with property managers, facility management companies, commercial landlords, retail chains, and corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new B2B commercial clients in property management, facility services, retail, industrial, and commercial real estate sectors
- Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers (Facility Managers, Property Managers, Operations Managers, Procurement Teams)
- Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting → meetings → proposals → closing → account growth
- Prepare and present professional proposals, quotes, and service agreements
- Develop strategic partnerships and vendor relationships
- Coordinate with internal operations, dispatch, and technical teams to ensure smooth service delivery
- Maintain and update CRM with leads, opportunities, and client activity
- Track sales performance, pipeline, and revenue targets
- Attend networking events, site meetings, and industry functions as required
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Business Development, B2B Sales, or Account Management
- Proven experience selling services (not retail products) to commercial clients
- Strong understanding of B2B sales processes and relationship-based selling
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Pay: $39,575.75-$136,725.08 per year
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON (York District)
