Job Opportunity: Community Engagement Specialist

We're driven by a vision of a world free from multiple sclerosis (MS), a neurological disease that affects the central nervous system.

We facilitate connections within the MS community to access programs, information, research, and support networks while navigating their MS journey. This involves collaborating with researchers, donors, partners, volunteers, people living with MS, caregivers, and health professionals to advance progress and create meaningful impact.

Mission Statement

Whether enhancing the lives of Canadians today or supporting groundbreaking research to end MS in the future, we strive together as a community—and you can be part of this collaborative effort.

Main Areas of Focus:
  • Deliver an exceptional volunteer experience across the entire lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training, stewardship, and recognition, within their region and beyond as required.
  • Strengthen engagement by identifying volunteers with leadership potential and connecting them to opportunities throughout the organization.
  • Support local and national community outreach initiatives, such as community hubs and both in-person and virtual events.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for community engagement.

Key qualifications include experience in volunteer management, event planning, and community outreach. Additionally, proficiency in project management tools and ability to work independently are highly desirable.

Beyond a competitive compensation package, our organization offers a dynamic work environment, opportunities for professional growth, and the satisfaction of contributing to a noble cause.

This role requires flexibility, adaptability, and a commitment to excellence. If you are a dedicated individual seeking a challenging and rewarding career opportunity, we encourage you to apply.
