Hours of Work:
36 Hours per week

Salary:
$30.00 to $31.00 per hour

Location
: The primary work location for this position will be in-person, in downtown Edmonton.

The
Community Engagement Coordinator
is accountable for cultivating strategic partnerships through community outreach activities. Their responsibility is to foster relationships and maintain active partnerships with social service providers, schools, cultural organizations, indigenous communities, and other relevant groups to promote service awareness, and to understand the various ways ODG services can provide or support solutions for our mutual clients. 

The ideal candidate will bring a strong commitment to Open Door Group's mission, vision, and values, with a solid understanding of the Human Rights Code and best practices in Disability, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). They will demonstrate familiarity with local community resources and the broader community support ecosystem and excel at building positive relationships with diverse stakeholders to promote service awareness and identify collaborative solutions for shared clients.

What you bring to the position:

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Marketing/Sales, Business, or Human Resources.
  • Recent, related experience of three (3) years or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Valid BC driver's license and use of a motor vehicle
  • Must maintain a satisfactory criminal background check
