Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced local Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and providing insightful analysis to support business decisions. This role requires proficiency in accounting software and a strong understanding of various accounting functions.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
  • Conduct account analysis and account reconciliation to ensure accuracy.
  • Complete corporate and personal tax returns.
  • Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, and Sage for efficient record-keeping.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quickbooks, Sage).
  • Strong knowledge of account analysis, and account reconciliation
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Good communication skills for collaboration with team members and clients.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00-$65,000.00 per year

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

  • Working in accounting: 2 years (preferred)
