Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in various accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, bookkeeping, and financial reporting. Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation tasks
  • Support corporate finance activities, including budgeting and forecasting
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions using accounting software
  • Conduct account analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Assist with payroll processing and auditing functions
  • Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes and reporting

Skills

  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, PeopleSoft, Sage, or similar platforms
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices
  • Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes
  • Familiarity with corporate finance concepts and financial services
  • Ability to perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation efficiently
  • Excellent analytical skills for account analysis and budgeting tasks
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in all financial documentation
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders
