Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Staff Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will support our accounting department by performing various accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliation, and assisting with auditing processes. Responsibilities

  • Assist advisors on financial reporting and analysis into the accounting records
  • Contribute to budgeting activities by analyzing financial data and providing insights for decision-making.
  • Assist in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to ensure timely processing of invoices and payments.
  • Perform account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements and reports in compliance with corporate finance standards.
  • Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, PeopleSoft, or Sage for bookkeeping and financial analysis.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of cash balances.
  • Participate in the auditing process by providing necessary documentation and support.
  • Collaborate with team members on various financial projects and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as toast, gusto, adp, R365 and high knowledge of good suites is preferred.
  • Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and payroll processes.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform account analysis and support budgeting efforts.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
