About Us

New Sudbury Dental is a modern, privately owned, patient-focused dental practice dedicated to delivering high-quality care in a supportive, team-driven environment.

We have recently completed a major expansion, adding a new second floor with 12 operatories. While this space is not yet running at full pace, it provides an exciting opportunity to grow steadily and expand into all areas of dentistry in a structured, manageable way.

We are looking for a motivated Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our expanding team and help guide patients through understanding and accepting their recommended care.

Position Overview

The Dental Treatment Coordinator plays a key role in patient communication, treatment planning, financial coordination, and ensuring a smooth experience from diagnosis to scheduling. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with patients and thrives in a growing, evolving practice environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Present treatment plans clearly and confidently to patients
  • Review financial options, and insurance coverage
  • Coordinate scheduling for multi-step or complex treatment plans
  • Follow up with patients regarding pending treatment and next steps
  • Work closely with the clinical team to ensure accurate communication
  • Maintain detailed notes and documentation in practice management software
  • Explain dental procedures and terminology in a patient-friendly way
  • Build strong rapport and trust with patients
  • Support administrative tasks as needed during practice expansion
  • Assist with managing patient flow between the first and second floors

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a dental office (treatment coordination preferred)
  • Strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures
  • Experience with insurance verification and financial discussions
  • Knowledge of dental practice software Abeldent
  • Excellent communication and relational skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable multitasking
  • Positive attitude and ability to contribute to a team-focused environment

  • Monday–Friday
  • One evening per week Monday or Wednesdays available, no weekends.
