Job Overview

We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Servers to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidates will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Duties

  • Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcomed.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Toast POS system.
  • Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and upselling opportunities.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper presentation and temperature.
  • Manage multiple tables efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and guest satisfaction.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area, adhering to food safety regulations.
  • Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest concerns promptly.

Skills

  • Proven experience in the food service or restaurant industry is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests positively.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
  • Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is essential.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Toast POS, is an advantage.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
