Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and have a passion for providing exceptional dining experiences. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Take accurate food and drink orders using the Pixel POS system.
  • Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
  • Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests.
  • Monitor guest needs throughout their meal, providing attentive service.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, adhering to food safety standards.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
  • Assist in training new staff members on service standards and procedures.

Experience

  • Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred, with a focus on restaurant experience.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Pixel POS, is a plus.
  • Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously.
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
  • Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest services and hospitality.
