Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a passion for the food industry, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality service, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the dining area.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and seat guests promptly while providing menus and information about daily specials.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system, specifically Micros POS.
  • Serve food and drinks in a timely manner while ensuring adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
  • Manage cash handling procedures, including processing payments and providing change.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and delivery.
  • Maintain cleanliness of tables, utensils, and dining areas throughout service.
  • Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
  • Assist with training new staff members as needed.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
  • Familiarity with guest services principles and hospitality standards.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere while also being self-motivated.
