Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role is essential in supporting the financial health of our organization and will involve working closely with various departments to provide timely and accurate financial information.

Duties

  • Maintain and update financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently
  • Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data
  • Conduct bank reconciliations on a regular basis to verify account balances
  • Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting
  • Analyze accounts to identify discrepancies and provide solutions
  • Prepare payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with regulations
  • Generate financial reports for management review, including profit and loss statements
  • Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
  • Experience with payroll processing is a plus
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports effectively
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with team members and stakeholders
  • Knowledge of budgeting processes is beneficial
