Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Corporate Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing accurate financial reporting. This role requires proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of corporate finance principles. The Corporate Accountant will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of the organization.

Duties

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
  • Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Prepare financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Conduct auditing processes to ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to support corporate financial planning.
  • Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and PeopleSoft for bookkeeping and financial analysis.
  • Provide account analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Oversee payroll processing to ensure accurate employee compensation.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that support business decisions.

Experience

  • Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably within a corporate environment.
  • Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and PeopleSoft is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate finance principles, bookkeeping practices, and auditing standards.
  • Experience with account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, payroll processing, and financial services is highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are crucial for success in this role.

Pay: $27.69-$35.28 per hour
